How do we establish a tolerant society in which everyone is equal?
The world-renowned writer George Tabori found a beautifully simple answer to this question when he coined the following phrase:
Everybody is someone.
Someone like you and me. Someone with hopes and dreams, and with the right to live an autonomous life.
We took this phrase to heart and made it the basis for a campaign we want to use to introduce people who are someone. And who were someone.
After all: We are all someone.
If we build on this awareness in the way we all live alongside each other, we can contribute to a society in which no one has to experience intolerance, hatred, hate speech, or even violence ever again. Experiences that people were subjected to under National Socialism in unimaginably large numbers and with manifold cruelty.

January 27th is International Day in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust.
And rarely has it been as important as it is today that we all do our bit to ensure that history doesn’t repeat itself.
