The company was established in 2020 as the Car.Software Organisation. Today, around 5,500 employees from over 90 nationalities are working on one of the most exciting challenges in the automotive industry: shaping the car of the future. As an essential part of the Volkswagen Group's vision to become the global automotive tech driver, we develop software solutions for all Group brands.
We’re developing advanced systems in synergetic technology areas across the Volkswagen Group: for driver assistance, highly automated driving, infotainment, cloud infrastructure and connectivity. Through close collaboration with the Volkswagen Group brands and strong international tech partners, we deliver platform solutions that can be tailored to regional needs while scaling globally.
