  • The Volkswagen Group has appointed Marco Schubert as a member of the Extended Executive Committee for the North American Region effective October 1, 2026. He will therefore assume responsibility for the overall management of North America region and report in this function directly to Oliver Blume.

Martina Biene will head up Sales and Marketing at Škoda and Christiane Zorn has been appointed as Chair and Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Africa

In this new function, he will report directly to Oliver Blume. Marco Schubert currently serves as a Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing at Audi and as a member of the Extended Executive Committee of the Volkswagen Group with responsibility for Sales, Marketing and After Sales. Kjell Gruner is leaving the company to pursue new professional challenges.
