Volkswagen Group donates one million euros of emergency aid to help those affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria

  • The German Red Cross receives 500,000 euros of emergency aid in Turkey 
  • The UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe receives 500,000 euros of emergency aid in Syria
  • The company and Works Council also call for donations from the workforce

Wolfsburg. Volkswagen AG and its Group brands are donating one million euros of emergency aid for the regions affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. The UNO-Flüchtlingshilfe e.V. and the German Red Cross (DRK) will receive 500,000 euros of the donation each. The Volkswagen Group, together with the Group Works Council are also calling on employees to contribute to the donations to help those affected by the earthquake.
