Wolfsburg. Volkswagen will combine the Group functions Treasury and Investor Relations, effective December 1, 2021, to further strengthen the relationship to its banking partners and other capital markets participants. Dr. Jörg Boche, Head of Group Treasury at Volkswagen AG, will end his career after 15 years and retire at the end of 2021. Rolf Woller, Head of Treasury and Investor Relations at Volkswagen subsidiary TRATON SE, will move to Volkswagen AG effective December 1 to take over the newly formed Group function.

„We‘re combining two key finance functions that are closely linked in order to allow for a more holistic approach to servicing our banking partners and the capital markets,“ said Chief Financial Officer Arno Antlitz. „My deep thanks goes to Dr. Boche. He has led the Treasury function at Volkswagen very successfully for many years and managed the financial steering during the Diesel years and the recent COVID pandemic.“

„At the same time I‘m pleased that we‘ve won Rolf Woller, an experienced and well regarded capital markets expert, to take over the new position. Together with his Treasury colleagues as well as Helen Beckermann, Head of Group Investor Relations and her experienced team he will integrate and further strengthen our banking and capital markets relations.“

Rolf Woller has held the position as Head of Treasury and Investor Relations at TRATON SE since 2019. Between 2007 and 2018 he held various positions at Continental AG.
