Volkswagen Sustainability Council: Expert from China joins advisory body

Wolfsburg. A further high-caliber expert has joined the international Sustainability Council founded by the Volkswagen Group. At its third meeting in Wolfsburg, Yongtu Long was appointed as a member of the Sustainability Council initiated by the Group Board of Management in the fall of 2016. Yongtu Long is one of China's leading political economists and diplomats, and has served in many posts, among them Chief Representative and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation in the negotiations for China's accession to the World Trade Organization.
